Bill Greenwood OBE RIP
We are sorry to inform members of the death of Bill Greenwood on Monday 4th July following a short illness. Bill was the kindest of men, devoted to his family, his cricket – especially Lancashire, and the Cricket Memorabilia Society. He was Assistant Secretary for many years and established the CMS raffle which has led to hundreds of pounds being donated to good causes nominated by our guests.
As recently as May he was in contact with Committee members thanking us for our good wishes during his illness and explaining the slightly different font on the new CMS card holders he had organised. This was typical of his attention to detail and devotion to CMS.
Our thoughts are with his wife Ann and their family and friends.
